Encore Collection

The Encore Collection will fabricate in exacting detail, 62 singular chryselephantine Art Deco sculptures. The molds and models of these pieces were cast and carved from the original sculptures and models of the period and have been collected over a period of 30 years. Each sculpture will be of a limited edition, 250 in number after which the molds of each will be destroyed, thus enhancing the value of each piece in the progression of time.
The artists represented in the Encore Collection, such as Chiparus, Clare Colinet, Bruno Zach, Preiss and Descomps, are the most prominent of the era, whose original work are exhibited in museums throughout the world.

Imbedded in the base of each Encore Collection piece is the foundry seal inscribed with the issued series number of the 250-piece limited edition. Accompanying each sculpture is a certificate identifying the ivory used as African pre banned, legally obtained antique estate ivory all of which was obtained prior to 1989. In addition, delivered with each piece will be a Certificate of Authenticity containing the information identifying the origins of each piece.

Chryselephantine sculptures are an integration of hand tooled bronze, married to hand carved ivory; set upon a base of onyx and marble matched and color coordinated to perfection. These sculptures have been placed at auction, on numerous occasions, at Christies, New York and London at exorbitant prices. Encore Collection is able to offer this art to a much larger segment of collectors and Art Deco connoisseur's by virtue of the Internet, catalogue distribution, television promotion and art exposition exposure. Plans are presently in the works, as stocks of legally obtained ivory diminishes to nil, for Encore Collection to introduce a new collection of carved Spanish Alabaster and bronze sculptures of more of the masters of Art Deco as well as the best of contemporary artists.
